Alfredo Javaloyes

El Abanico is een 'Regimental Quick March' uit 1951. El Abanico is het Spaanse woord voor 'de ventilator': het wijst op de als een ventilatorblad gevormde tafel in de kroeg waar componist Alfredo Javaloyes, bandleider van het Spaanse regiment in Sevilla, zijn tijd placht door te brengen. De mars werd door enkele andere Britse regimenten aangesteld als de regimentsmars.
