Concerto d'Amore bestaat uit een combinatie van drie verschillende stijlen, namelijk barok, pop en jazz. De statige inleiding van de compositie klinkt als een barokke ouverture. Daarna volgt een energiek gedeelte in popstijl, dat uitmondt in een karakteristiek adagio. Een motief uit dit adagio wordt vervolgens verwerkt in een swingend gedeelte, waarna het stuk besluit met de terugkeer van het adagio in een andere gedaante.
